Meet Dr. Long Pham

Dr. Long Pham is dedicated to the care of his patients. “It is important to me, to help patients have and keep a healthy and beautiful smile.” Dr. Pham is one of the few Biomimetic dentist in the United States and even fewer who finished his mastership at the Alleman Center for Biomimetics Dentistry. The principles of biomimetic restorative dentistry is mimicking natural teeth characteristics with conservational approach while minimizing stress on the teeth. He has saved thousands of teeth from root canals and crowns. Anyone who has worked with Dr. Pham knows he is good at and loves what he does, from his patients, assistants, lab technicians, to other dentists. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Association.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Dr. Long Pham grew up in the area attending Beech Tree Elementary School, Sleepy Hollow Elementary School, Glasgow Middle School, and St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School. He then had a wonderful education and experience at Virginia Tech and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He went on to receive his D.D.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, formerly known as MCV School of Dentistry, where he graduated among the top of his class.
Dr. Long Pham has placed many successful dental implants and extracted 3rd molars (wisdom teeth) with ease. Should a root canal or crown is needed (a rare occasion under Dr. Pham’s care), he is also very proficient performing root canals and crowns. In fact, local dental lab technicians say his “crowns and impressions are the BEST out of ALL the dentists” they work with.
Dr. Long Pham pursues the best continuing education courses and reads plenty of dental literature to keep up with the latest advancements in dentistry. He loves to educate his patients and provide them with the highest standard of care
COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Dr. Long Pham volunteers at the Northern Virginia Free Dental Clinic, Hope for Tomorrow, as well as is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Society, because he feels it is important to help the underserved with dental care. Dr. Long Pham is an Eagle Scout, and received his Woodbadge Leadership Training for adults.
Dr. Long Pham enjoys spending time with his family, coaching little league baseball, and playing sports, such as basketball and snowboarding. His wife, Dr. Erica Sok, is also practicing dentistry with focus on airway, functional orthodontics and TMJ treatments.
